Server Name:
Semi SRS SCPRP

Suggestion Title:
We could have people apply for wiremod access as long as they are Gold VIP+, and if they are deemed trustworthy, they get access to wiremod. Abusing wire what-so-ever results in the permissions being permanently revoked and the perpetrator being banned for a week, or longer depending on what they did.

How would it benefit the server:
It would allow for MTF and such to better secure the facility and would increase immersion.

Potential Issues/Exploits:
People being faggots, but punishment has already been suggested.

Additional notes:

None

I am interested, but I know for a fact it will be abused near-instantly. So it should only be allowed by specific VIP classes only. Such as MTF leader or NTF. So I +support wire shit but -support the current idea, try laying down some general rule ideas too.

You do realize I said that you have to apply to even have it granted?

I do. Yet knowing how often people, even in our staff team, abuse things I do not see this as a good idea AT ALL to implement in our servers. Even if we were super harsh with our acceptance. Think about this for a second.

How many people who have ever had forum staff have abused? I know of 1, arguably 2.

How many SCP staff have ever abused? Literally all of us, without exaggeration.

How many VIPs have abused their VIP classes? I'd say about every 7/10 in my experiences.

How many custom class players have abused? In my experiences, all of them at least once each.

I don't have the power to decline this by any stretch of the imagination. But I will -support it as I please, you have heard my reasoning and don't need to agree with it, but my opinion stands until I am given proper rules, an application example, or a stricter system for this idea such a specific wire lengths, what wire items can be made, or something along those lines my dude.

Yeah, a max of 10dps means 10 seconds kills the average full health D-Class.
Maybe 2-5 max dps IF we impliment this/
What... that means a d class would have to be in the range of a turret for ten full seconds to die, and since turrets would be limited to one per person they’d most likely just be able to run past it or go around it. OMO ten is underpowered. Just look at sentry turrets in TF2, they take less than 3 seconds to kill most classes and people still blow them up like it’s childsplay

True, but MOST D-Class escape D-Block with LESS than 100 hp, and let's say the turret is directly infront of a door (but with no collide to prevent prop-block), then you basically insta-die.
