Suggestion Title:

Slap to it rookie!

How would it benefit the server:
It will remind new staff (such as myself) that there are going to be some challenges, and it's best to use patience, it would also be a fun event to convince players to get on!

Potential Issues/Exploits:
It is by all manners of speaking a waste of time and server space, even if it IS funny.

Additional notes:


The idea for this "holiday" is to set 1-4 annual dates for the server(s). Any and all staff who joined after the LAST celebrated "Annual Beat Up The New Staff Day" will be command slapped x300 in a random place, merely for comedic reasons and to remind the rookies of 3 things.

1) it will remind the new staff that no matter who they are, someone outranks them, they are not all powerful

2) It reminds staff and players that we are semi-serious and know how to have a good laugh

3) It lets higher up staff release stress and such by picking on someone who should know how to handle a joke


The idea (if passed) would most likely be optional to all non-trial moderators, and if the holiday IS passed I will proudly be the first to be slapped 500 times while laughing my ass off.


The idea is mainly a joke, but I can TELL someone is/will reading/read this idea and hope it is/was pass/ed.

March 17th
July 17th

But as far as I see this could become a monthly or weekly event if passed and enough people enjoy it.

Again though let us be honest, it probably won't pass with the higher-up staff.

Very fair argument, but the idea is that WHILE being slapped they still have to TRY to deal with reports and such, I doubt it'd be that easy, at least not without a little tactical genius. and nobody said the slaps had to be 0 damage ;D

also, as said in my math from the shoutbox, we are looking at about 5k slaps.
