Suggestion Title:
Rules, and their formatting?
How would it benefit the server:
I know players spawn seeing the rules, but some people hate having to manually type the rules and search for rules that sometimes are in no specific order or sequence.
Potential Issues/Exploits:
None to knowledge, but if you think of one please inform me!
Additional notes:
The idea goes as follows, imagine the current f4 Menu layout, there is no rules tab, the only way to open the rules (at least that is widely know) is by typing "!motd" into the chat, thus opening the list of rules, along with the forums. But why do that? Why not take a more organized step? Below is an example with some fake made-up rules, although some are real rules too, this is really more for an example
*player types f4 to see a menu with multiple tabs, one clearly says "RULES"*
*player clicks "RULES" tab to see 6 mini tabs*
*these tabs read (in order from top to bottom) "General", "D-Class", "Foundation", "CI", "Staff"*
*Upon entering, you would already be in the General Tab, the general tab would look something like this*
1) Do not minge
2) Don't False Report
3) Do not lie to staff
etc etc
*General would be for any rules players should ALWAYS follow REGARDLESS of class that they hold, such as NLR, not RDMing (except as D-Class), etc*
*Upon clicking the "D-Class" tab, you would find D-Class specific rules and roles*
D-Class
1) You have no NLR
2) no butt sniffing
3) no nose-picking
4) Fear RP applies if you aren't actively escapeing
etc
Requis
1) Your NLR is 2 minutes
2) You can only attack D-Class in self-defense
3) you CAN butt-sniff
Bubba
1) You have no NLR
2) your Rape Swep can only be used once every 2 minutes unless attacked
3) you CAN nose pick
*the general idea for what I did for D-Class would continue under the same scheme for each organization or group under a similar template as below*
Role Name
Rule 1) NLR timer (if any, if not say so for this rule)
Rule 2) specify who they can or cannot kill (using a-z as needed)
Rule 3) Specify who they CAN or cannot work with (a-z if needed again)
Rule 4+) any other rules you feel may be needed.
I know this is an akward concept so I totally get it if this is declined, but it was merely a light suggestion since I hear the f4 menu is being remade.
